India officially imposes 5-year anti-dumping duties on Chinese telescopic drawer slides, exempting some companies

On December 18, 2024, the Revenue Department of the Indian Ministry of Finance issued Notice No. 27/2024 Custods (ADD), deciding to impose anti-dumping duties on Telescopic Channel Drawer Sliders originating or imported from China for a period of 5 years at a rate of $422 per ton. But five Chinese companies, such as Foshan Shunde Fosail Metal Products Co., Ltd., have been granted zero tax exemption. The customs codes of the products involved include 83024110, 83024190, etc., but kitchen and bedroom accessories (such as pull-out pants racks) are not within the scope of taxation.
